How long has The Islands Golf Center been serving its customers?
The Islands Golf Center has been operating since 1993.
What about the lake? Is fishing allowed?
The lake is 10 acres and is anywhere from 35-60 feet deep. It is part of the Orange County reservoir system. Sorry, but no fishing is allowed.
What about the golf balls?
They are know as "floaties" and have just enough air in the core to give them buoyancy and, therefore, will float.
How are the golf balls recovered?
A motorized vessel collects them several times a day.
How far do the balls go compared with regular golf balls?
Although they have the feel of regular balls, their buoyancy results in about 8% less distance.

Driving Range Hours |
Buckets of balls may be purchased until 9:45 pm. The lights are turned off by 10:30 p.m. |

Golf clubs thrown into the lake cannot be retrieved. Don't forget to keep those club grips dry. |

No alcoholic beverages are permitted on the grounds. There are plenty of vending machines with family oriented refreshments. |

Please don't hit the golf balls off of the grass. |

No fishing is allowed (unless you have webbed feet and feathers). It's only fair. We don't let the birds golf! |

No cars are allowed in the parking lot after hours except by prior agreement. Cars left unattended after hours will be towed. |
